Crisis Managment
Leading Through a Crisis
Leading Through a Crisis
Every child welfare leader deal with crises and the associated risks. Crises such as staffing issues, child fatalities and near fatalities, media scrutiny, including social media scrutiny and caseworker safety concerns contribute to an already stressful work environment and can easily erode workplace morale. This workshop will explore legal and practice tools and techniques an agency leader can implement to reduce the risk of a crisis and to support their workforce when a crisis occurs. A panel of experts will share tools and techniques that they have implemented with positive results. Participants will engage in discussions to help determine which tools and techniques are feasible for their respective agencies.
This workshop is eligible for 3 Continuing Education credit hours and 3 Leadership Academy Certificate hours.
Work Wisdom will facilitate an in-person Workshop for Pennsylvania
Children and Youth Administrators. The three-hour, highly interactive
workshop will be on the topic of Leading Through Crisis. In this session,
participants will walk through a five-step inquiry process that has helped
Work Wisdom and other companies in moving forward through crisis and
economic tumult with strength and clarity. These five practices enable
organizations to consider how to continue achieving their purpose and
lean into their unique identity, even in times of crisis.
